Aqurus Solutions founded, signs with Acumatica

Aqurus Solutions is founded, and announced it has signed an agreement to become a Value Added Reseller (VAR) for Acumatica.  

Aqurus Solutions’ mission is to deliver integrated Cloud solutions, particularly cloud-based ERP solutions.  Aqurus founder and President, Murray Quibell, is an ERP software veteran, with experience in client-server ERP systems since the early 1990’s.  Quibell, a Chartered Accountant with a specialization in Information Technology (IT), was a founder and principal of a previous Microsoft Gold Certified IT Solutions company, and has sold, managed, implemented, and supported financial software solutions for over 20 years.  He has researched and offered business consulting services regarding compliance, privacy, and other risks and practical implications of cloud-based solutions in Canada.

Considering the evolution of web based consumer applications, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) business applications, Quibell researched several products, looking for a true web-based solution ERP system.  Quibell said “there has to be a better option for businesses to truly leverage cloud technologies throughout the organization.  ERP software typically lags behind consumer applications in the adoption of technologies – we saw this with the move from DOS to Windows”.  In selecting Acumatica, Quibell said “Acumatica seems to be the perfect solution to lead the adoption of cloud technologies to small and mid-size companies, and we are extremely excited to pursue business opportunities with Acumatica in Western Canada.”
